Mobile phones leading cause of distracted driving incidents
Some 70% of businesses have experienced the effects of distracted driving incidents, with 68% of survey respondents identifying mobile phone use as the primary cause of these distractions, according to a recent study by connected mobility platform Teletrac Navman.

Truck battery swapping station for electric trucks
More electric trucks will be rolling out onto Sydney streets within weeks, following the completion of Janus Electric’s first solar-powered Charge and Change Station at the Moorebank Intermodal Precinct.
The new facility gives electric trucks, produced by Janus Electric on the Central Coast, the ability to swap the two-metre by 1.2 metre batteries for fully charged batteries, and head off on their run.

Yet another forestry death
As the details of yet another worker death emerge from a court prosecution, WorkSafe is again urging the forestry sector to reflect on what more it can do to improve safety.
