New North America ambassadors for Taranaki’s TrackGrip

Taranaki’s TrackGrip brand has secured Todd Hoffman, reality star and creator of Discovery channel’s Hoffman Family Gold, as brand ambassador along with his father Jack Hoffman and Foreman Andy Spinks.

TrackGrip offers a range of durable and patented excavator and tracked vehicle attachments to increase traction on the toughest of terrains, from icy slopes to dense mud in industries ranging from forestry to mining. As miners, Mr Hoffman and his crew will be using the products in some of the most intense terrain in the world.

“We run the TrackGrips on our 50- and 65-tonne machines and they are amazing. They save money, they save time. There are only a few companies that I’ll get behind. We rely on the TrackGrips in the frozen muddy ice terrains we’re in – the range comes in 1-100 tonne. It’s a natural fit,” says Mr Hoffman of Hoffman Family Gold.

“I was really impressed at the ease of being able to put them on and take them off. Normally you have a guy weld lugs for days onto the track. To be able to put them on in an hour-and-a-half – wow, that’s huge savings and impact for productivity.”

CEO of Carac International, Sonia Kiser, says, “We are super excited and honoured to have Todd and Jack Hoffman and Andy Spinks from Hoffman Family Gold as our North American Ambassadors for TrackGrip. We are thrilled they want to team up with us to advocate the TrackGrip products to the rest of the world.”

They met the Hoffmans at the Conexpo in Las Vegas in the USA a year ago and shared their TrackGrip product – Mr Hoffman and his team were immediately interested and the business relationship has grown from there.

As brand ambassadors, they will help to educate a wider network of industry connections and promote the TrackGrip product range across North America, cutting down the time and investment needed to grow their existing market share.

“TrackGrip already has over 400 dealer locations stocking our product line across North America and we’re looking forward to seeing how our Hoffman collaboration will shape the future of the business both in the USA and internationally,” says Ms Kiser.

TrackGrip track attachments are manufactured in Eltham, Taranaki and stocked in New Zealand through Porter Group and other dealers.
